Dissolve a cup or more of our Dead Sea Salts in a tub with very warm water. (Note: Salts are 100% pure and oil free, therefore they can be left in an outdoor type hot tub. This is an added relaxant for sore muscles and aching joints. It has been documented to aid in the pain relief of various types of arthritis too.) For added relaxation, add your favorite essential oil to the velvety water. The water temperature should be at least 102° Fahrenheit. Once the bath is drawn, gently immerse your body for approximately 30 minutes. (For added relaxation, try using our “Ultimate Luxury”TM Dead Sea Mineral Mud MasqueTM on the face and upper body.  The masque works best if you allow it to dry before entering your bath tub. Please do not get into an outdoor hot tub with the mud on! It could ruin your tub’s pumps! Once the Mud Masque is dry,  submerge into the bath. It is not uncommon to feel warmth in the masque as the steam rises from the water. This is the mud being reactivated by the steam . If it’s too intense simply rinse masque off with cool tap water.  We personally  rinse arms and upper body in the bathtub water. ). When using our Dead Sea Bath Crystals, it is not necessary to use soap or bath gel once you have finished soaking. The salt minerals aid in the complete removal of any redundant fat or dirt that may be on the skin. After the bath, rinse the body with clean lukewarm water. To acquire a deeper treatment, one that will increase the effects of the salt, rub salts over effected area then wrap with warm moist towels for an hour or so.  Dead Sea Salt is recommended as an effective regenerative and beauty agent for all skin types. Positive effects of the salt have been seen on people with dermatological problems such as psoriasis of the scalp and body, eczema, acne, ichthyosis, rheumatism, arthritis, muscular spasms, various joint pains, circulation and nerve problems.

These salts are very coarse and it is highly recommended that you pre-dissolve them in hot water to ensure they are completely dissolved. There is nothing more uncomfortable than sitting on large gravel like salt rocks! LOL! :o) They still contain the plethora of minerals, their just much bigger in size and take longer to dissolve. If you are a psoriasis sufferer, a known regimen (that takes place at the Dead Sea Spas) is to dissolve 2 pounds of these salts (standard bath tub size. If you have a garden tub, you should use 3 pounds or more.) in very warm water and submerge the entire body for at least 30 minutes. This regimen should be done on average for a minimum of 3 times a week for at least 6 weeks. Results may vary per individual. To speed up the healing process, you can paint on our Dead Sea  Mineral Body MasqueTM  , allow to dry. Then rinse off in bath water. Apply our “Ultimate Luxury”TM Mineral Crème or if extra hydration is needed, apply our Lavender or SheaMuTM Butters.
